You’re a 32-year-old male who takes pills or injects drugs every day.  You have come to a needle exchange site to get clean works.  You work day-jobs sometimes and shoplift to get money for your drugs.  You stay at the shelter when you can get in.  Sometimes your girlfriend, who has a regular job, lets you stay with her and you have sex.  She insists you use condoms, but you never use them with the other women you have sex with.  You came into the clinic to get out of the rain and had to tell the receptionist why you were there.  You saw the sign in the lobby about getting an HIV test.
